What is a food co-op?

A food co-op is a community-owned grocery store where members collectively own the business, have a voice in how it’s run, and support local food producers. Profits are reinvested locally to strengthen food access and the local economy.

The Kingston Food Co-op brings neighbors together through shared ownership, local food, and a commitment to making healthy, transparent food accessible in Midtown Kingston. Our members want a one-stop shop for groceries.
